Bryson the Bison's family are descendants of a herd that was brought to the island in 1924 for the filming of The Vanishing American, a western directed by Zane Grey. He was taught the trade by his father and continues the family business of filming and documenting wildlife on the island and is currently working on a island fox documentery.
